Small, attractive websites can (and do) easily increase the workload for bands and artistes. All the sites I've done for bands have increased their giglists and interest levels immeasurably.

Websites for bands needn't be over elaborate and only need to be 5 or 6 pages altogether, detailing gigs, reviews, releases, etc.
